Formal Lawn and Terraces, Ilkley
This established garden was in need of some attention: the woodland boundaries and border planting were overgrown and the summer house in a state of collapse. The garden design included a new raised base for a new summer house to catch the last of the evening sunshine, new stone flagged paths, levelling and returfing the lawn and complete replanting of the formal borders and woodland edge. Within the Ilkley Conservation Area, the project involved liaison with Bradford Council for planning permission and tree removal.
