Front Garden and Drive
The north facing frontage to this semi-detached period property had the typical straight tarmac drive and shaded lawn. The clients wanted to remove the lawn to provide off street parking for 3 cars.
A sympathetic surfacing solution was required for this large area. Natural materials were used – a combination of reclaimed stone setts and a pea gravel surface, set off with simple planting.
View to the house from the drive entrance. Planting beds project into the gravel space to break up the long view down the side of the house. The cars are tucked in to the side, keeping the entrance to the house open.
